Palak Shah, founder of Infusion Candle Co., a South Asian inspired soy candle brand based in Chicago. Hi, I'm Palak.

I grew up between two worlds.
Indian at home — chai always on the stove, sandalwood at every prayer, jasmine in my mom's garden. American everywhere else — code-switching before I knew the word for it.

For years, I thought I had to pick one. Tone down the Indian parts to fit in. Save them for home. Keep them separate.

I started Infusion Candle Co. in 2020 because I was done choosing.

These hand-poured soy candles are built from the scents that raised me — South Asian scents like chai, jasmine, sandalwood, and rose — made for the home I'm building now. Not a trip back to a place I've never lived. Just the feeling of belonging. Wherever I am.

This brand is for the ones who carry two cultures. Who don't want to shrink either one. Whose homes are a mix of everything they come from and everything they're becoming.

All ingredients are sourced in the USA. Vegan and cruelty-free. Poured in small batches to reduce waste and ensure quality.
